- TWCL handed over one million dollars (J$1M) on Thursday, December 13th to the Linstead Hospital from our 2018 5K proceeds. Cheque was presented during the official opening of the LPH Drug Serv Pharmacy
- Funds will be used to purchase Infant Warmers for the Maternity Ward as this area was deemed most critical by the hospital
- In 2018, the proceeds from the Tru-Juice 5K grew by over thirty-five percent (35%) from the previous year due to marketing efforts, the support from the LPH team, corporate sponsors and participating patrons
- The TWCL “Tru-Juice Cares” corporate social responsibility program is geared towards sustainable community development primarily through support and investment in education, sports and health care.
- TWCL will continue to support Linstead Hospital as they strive to develop health care in the community
- This was the 4th year that Tru-Juice has been supporting the Linstead Hospital with proceeds from their 5K
- In 2018, LPH celebrated its 100th anniversary and TWCL was honoured to support this milestone
- TWCL received a feature of the ‘Corporate Hands’ section of the Gleaner regarding the handover
