Trade Winds Citrus Limited (TWCL) once again delivered on another promise to the Linstead Hospital by handing over infant warmers and other associated equipment to the Maternity Ward yesterday.
The handover, which resulted from the success of their Tru-Juice 5K Run/Walk and 20K cycle last year, also marked the launch of this year’s seventh edition of the event scheduled for June 2 at the Tru-Juice Orchards in Bog Walk, St Catherine.
The company, through its Tru-Juice brand, prides itself on the only off-road event, which has been making donations to the Linstead Hospital since 2015, to assist in providing safe health care and promoting healthy lifestyle practices.
An ECG Machine, two transport stretchers and a hydro -collator are some of the other equipment that were purchased for the hospital through the 5K Run/Walk and 20K cycle over the last four years.
